Evolution-the power of yoga!

October was a really hard month. The studio was slow and I like everyone fell out of my practice. I am an Anusara Inspired Teacher and some of my teachers have left the school of Anusara. This coupled with the general malaise of October was creating excuses for me to be less then 100% of my authentic self. So this the second day of November, I am giving my head and body a shake and getting back to me!

This year was about transformation. Now that the year is drawing to a close  there are big shifts happening in the studio. As I watch the Anusara world shift I feel a little more settled with the changes in my yoga world. Eastside Yoga will be evolving in the next few months as we change classes, and teachers move on to follow the path of their own heart more deeply. I was really very happy to be a step on their path to where ever it is they are going. We have had a lot of  Yoga Teachers come and go at Eastside and that corresponds with the eb and flow of the universe.  I am always expanding my understanding of my practice and my vibration in the world.  This attracts new and fresh opportunities in my world and in the studio.

Soon we will be graduating a fresh crop of new teachers who will come out into the world and share their experiences. I look forward to change. It is not good to get stuck in our minds, our bodies and our experieinces. Change is good so embrace it. Cheers to new teachers, new opportunities, new experiences!

One thing to remember is to always follow the path of your own heart!

Peace

”everything must change so that everything can
stay the same” has become an ironic historical maxim quoted again and
again to describe the nature of history and the
    resourceful ways of power…
In order for you to continue to transform and create opportunities at your studio for others, everything around you must change.

    Embrace yourself as others do!

Love your posts. Change can be wonderful. It makes me question, wonder, observe and reconnect to that deep quiet place inside. Then, step into the flow.
