Making Yoga Inclusive and Accessible

All bodies are worthy and deserving of a personal yoga practice that connects them to their breath, body, and intention on the path to self-acceptance. A leader in the accessible yoga movement, Dianne is changing how an industry that traditionally caters to a very specific body type—thin, white, able-bodied, and affluent—to include everyone who feels called to the boundless practice of yoga.

For more than 20 years, Dianne has been holding space for yoga students of all ages, sizes and abilities to practice yoga. For the past decade, she has been training other teachers to do the same, sharing her Yoga For All methods to making yoga accessible with yoga teachers, studio owners, and practitioners alike. Session participants are excited by Dianne’s positive approach to adapting yoga asana to fit each body, encouraging each person to make the practice of yoga his or her own.
