SANTOSHA: WE ARE ENOUGH, WE HAVE ENOUGH, WE DO ENOUGH

We are often told that we need to constantly strive to do better. It’s a radical act of self-love and self-preservation to say enough is enough and to focus on your own self-care.

For me, this was a focus on my health. I have some chronic issues that I need to focus on. So I’ve let a lot of my other obligations slide while I took care of the most important thing. My health.

I wanted to do all I could to minimize the amount of medicine I was on. My focus was becoming healthier to help my body heal itself. I’m definitely not telling you to skip the medicine the doctor prescribes. My focus was on becoming healthier so I didn’t need the medications.

Connecting to your physical self can be helpful in reducing stress and help you tap into the power within you.

When you tap into your own power it makes it easier to “Weed your garden.” from negative thoughts or people that drain your energy and put you into a more negative frame of mind.
