Hands Free Vinyasa Yoga: A 10 Minute Practice to Stretch Out Your Hips
The gift of 10 minutes
Only have 10 minutes to practice yoga today? We’re conditioned think that if we don’t have an hour to dedicate to our practice at one time, that somehow it’s not yoga or that there’s no benefit to the practice. So we put off yoga until tomorrow when we commit that we have enough time and, for most of us, that obligation-free hour never materializes.
Every effort counts
Give yourself the gift of 10 minutes of practice today. In yoga, every effort counts. The benefits of shorter practices are cumulative, so no effort is ever wasted. And 10 minutes a day consistently is better for our body, mind and spirit than one big practice session when we can squeeze it in.
Today’s hands-free flow stretches the hips and challenges your balance without any pressure in your wrists or hands, plus there’s no kneeling so this practice is perfect if you have sore knees. Give it a try and let me know how you felt after giving yourself 10 minutes to reconnect on your mat.
