10 Minutes Makes a Difference
Hey. I just wanted to check in: How are you holding up? We’re all still figuring things out one day at a time with this pandemic and I hope you’re taking good care of yourself despite it all. When life gets stressful it is super easy to let self-care slide. Whenever things feel uncertain, self-care becomes even more important as it can serve as the anchor that keeps us upright, feeling grounded and centered.
That’s why I believe so strongly in the Gift of 10 Minutes. Too often “self-care” takes on the meaning of something big and grand: a massage, a vacation, a whole day to yourself. I don’t know about you, but getting a whole day to myself is a luxury. So, instead, I focus on things that renew my spirit and commit to doing them 10 minutes at a time.
Today’s practice is a perfect example. Your yoga practice doesn’t have to be a 75-minute class. You’ll reap the benefits of spending just 10 minutes or less breathing into the tight places in your body and being present in the moment. Unroll your mat and give yourself the gift of 10 minutes today.
