If you are curious to know why, I’m here with anti-dietician Mya Kwon and we are here to tell you why. Truth is, majority of dieticians in Northern America are mostly white women. Then they direct us to each things we wouldn’t normally eat and don’t fit our own culture.
We need to honor our cultural foods. This is essential to a happy relationship with food. Food is so much more that nutrients. When we strip the joy from food like our culture, traditions, and connection, we are limiting life and creating food guilt.
Now is the time to break down these diet culture mindsets that society has put on us. It’s time to improve our relationship with food so that we can improve our relationship with ourselves!

Mya Kwon is an anti-diet dietician with a Masters in Health and Nutrition Services from the University of Washington.
She helps life long dieters break away from the toxic culture and empowers them to build trust with their own bodies.
Her signature online program called, Body Respect, has hundreds of women break free from the cycle of food guilt, body shame and replace it with food freedom, body appreciation, and self love.
In addition to her online practice she is nutrition faculty at the Seattle Pacific University.
She is a strong Anti-Diet advocate and believes that all bodies regardless of weight and size deserve respectful and compassionate cary
