The Intentional Well-being Podcast: Changing the Narrative

Intentional Well-Being Podcast: Changing the Narrative

In this episode, I get to speak to an inspiring athlete. His name is Martinus Evans. Evans is the founder of 300 Pounds and Running. Today he is sharing his journey to joy through running, what motivates him, and the lessons he has learned over the years about how to cultivate his own joy by embracing his soul’s (and body’s) unique needs.

He teaches us that it is OK to be uncomfortable in your body at times. And that becoming comfortable in your body goes far beyond a diet plan and workout regime. Loving your body and fitness are not mutually exclusive. You CAN have one without the other.

When you respect and love the vessel that you were sent here to live in, you can gain the courage to chart your own course.ย

Are you ready to write your own story?

A message from Martinus Evans:

“At 300PoundsandRunning.com, we value consistency, courage, determination, dedication, positivity and perseverance. We understand that if we want to be better than who we are now, we must do the work.

We donโ€™t do diets! Diets are temporary, they do not breed long-term success.

We respect the process! It did not take us a month to gain this weight and it most certainly will not take a month to lose it.

We donโ€™t use excuses!ย Excuses are tools of the incompetentย used to build bridges to nowhere, those use them become monuments of nothingness and seldom do or become anything andย I know youโ€™re better than that.
